2009 Is Here and This Will Help With Your Resolutions

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

So we’re here.  2008 is out, and 2009 is here.

What are you’re plans for this new year?

I know it sounds like a “resolutions, goals and success” type of question.

I just wanted to drop you all a quick note tonight letting you know about a good way to handle those new years resolutions.

Right now I’m laying in bed (backwards, head where feet go and feet where my head goes) with my dog Rockey sleeping next to me and my wife watching Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year.

It’s 4 minutes till the ball drops in New York.

So tomorrow is the first day of your new year and the first day you got to start making things different and much better this new year of 2009.

Here’s a tip to make things easy for you.

It’s simple, straight and to the point.

  1. Write your resolutions & goals down on paper
  2. Then type them and print them
  3. Then write the words “I will” on the printed paper and sign your name to it.

After all of this, hang the written and the printed paper with your signature on it up somewhere you will see it all of the time, everyday.

Now, at least once a day read the resolutions and goals out load to yourself, making sure you repeat the words “I will” at he end.

Keep doing this until you reach those goals, then do the same thing for any new goals.

This is a GREAT way to get things stuck in your head and keep yourself motivated until you reach those goals.

Basically, you’re making a commitment with yourself and binding yourself to it by signing it.  Then, when you read it back to yourself, you’re reminding yourself of that commitment.

I hope this helps you a bit this coming year.

Again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
